Andie MacDowell is a bit of a risk-taker when it comes to beauty and fashion on the red carpet. Between embracing her gray hair, wearing glittery plaid power suits, and walking the runway in a leather trench coat and bra, her bold choices always pay off. Her most recent look is no exception and proves that sequins are not just for the holiday season.

On Tuesday, the actress attended the season 2 premiere of her Hallmark Channel show, The Way Home ,in a sultry sheer, sparkly party dress with long sleeves and a turtleneck. She styled the show-stopping number with black pointed-toe pumps and a matching clutch. MacDowell kept her jewelry to a minimum, wearing only a silver ring.

Her famous gray curls were pulled into an updo, save for a few face-framing ringlets on one side. In terms of glam, a gray smoky eyeshadow accentuated her hazel eyes, a rosy blush colored her cheeks, and a glossy pink lip completed the look.

During the event, MacDowel was joined by her cast mates Sadie Laflamme-Snow, Evan Williams, and Chyler Leigh. The actors and show's creators, Heather Conkie, Alexandra Clarke, and Marly Reed, also participated in a Q&A portion after a screening.

During the L'Oréal Paris Women of Worth event in November, MacDowell opened up about her decision to go fully gray, calling it "instinctual."

“I knew instinctually that this was something that I wanted to do. I'm just so thankful that L'Oréal Paris supported me and that everybody's been so kind to me and positive. The response has been really nice,” she told People at the time. “I'm just appreciative that people let me be the individual that I am without question. I think people also agree that silver hair probably suits me."

As a longtime ambassador of the brand, MacDowel added that L'Oréal has been by her side through a lot. “When I started [working with L'Oréal Paris], I was young. When I signed with them, I found out I was pregnant and I was afraid that I would lose the contract," she remembered. "But, it didn't have any negative effect. I did commercials when I was eight months pregnant and I would do commercials literally right after having a baby. So, I have grown up with L'Oréal Paris, and that's been a huge part of my life."
