It Took 300 Hours to Make Anya Taylor-Joy's Golden Globes Dress

They say all good things take time, so it's no surprise that Anya Taylor-Joy's Golden Globes gown wasn't made in a day. When the actress accepted her award for Best Actress in a Limited Series/TV Movie, her green Dior Haute Couture ensemble was on full display, and the mere sight gave us goosebumps. Sultry, shiny, sexy — it was perfectly styled by Law Roach, who added a bit of glitz and glam with some Tiffany & Co. jewels. But, according to Dior, the whole creation process wasn't easy: The custom-made Maria Grazia Chiuri design actually took 300 hours to sew and stitch together.

Of course, it wasn't just the lurex dress that required piecing together. There was the matching cape, too, and that draped bust and sheath that required some extra attention. Three different people worked to made this dream a reality, but the end result was well worth all that time. Taylor-Joy gave us old Hollywood vibes, and we immediately knew she deserved a spot on our best-dressed list.
