Ariana Grande Just Launched Her First Ever Clean Fragrance

God is a woman, and apparently she smells exquisite.

If you're trying to breakup with your fragrance 'cause you're bored, or maybe just looking to try something new, Ariana Grande has just launched her first ever clean fragrance called God is a Woman. And it's so good, it will make you say "Thank U, Next" to your current scent.

The dreamy eau de parfum, which launched today exclusively Ulta.com (and in stores starting August 1), is Grande's first ever clean fragrance, composed of 91% naturally derived clean ingredients. The singer's complete perfume collection with LUXE Brands — including favorite scents like Cloud, R.E.M., and Thank U Next — are already 100% vegan and cruelty-free, and God is a Woman follows suit in these practices. Plus, the chic packaging is made with sustainably sourced materials.

And in an effort to align with the fragrance's clean label, during the two weeks following this launch, a contribution from each purchase of the new fragrance will be donated to ocean clean up initiatives around the globe.

"I'm beyond thrilled to celebrate the release of our first ever clean fragrance," Grande said in a statement. "We have, of course, been cruelty-free but taking this next step moving into clean, with responsibly sourced materials and vegan ingredients, is something we are all very proud of. I really adore this fragrance and hope it makes everyone wearing it feel beautiful and empowered."

Grande's fans, better known as Arianators, seem to have served as a major source of inspiration for the pop icon when it came to her latest perfume. "God is a Woman is a true representation of Ariana's powerful message to her fans," Noreen Dodge, chief marketing officer of LUXE Brands, said in a press release. "The alluring fragrance and brand marks an evolution of the franchise into clean beauty."

And the tie to her fans was an important part of Grande's "hands-on" process when developing the newest scent, says Tony Bajaj, chief executive officer of LUXE Brands.

"I continue to be impressed by Ariana's close relationship with her fans, and her hands-on approach in developing unique scents they will love and authentic campaigns they will gravitate toward," he said in the release. "From the fragrance notes to the sustainably sourced materials used in the packaging, Ariana was at the helm of the creative process behind God is a Woman. LUXE Brands is honored to once again partner with such an influential icon."

The perfume, inspired by the nature from which its ingredients are derived, has notes of musky ambrette and juicy pear, as well as a heart of orris and Turkish rose petals. Subtle hints of Madagascar vanilla and creamy cedar wood envelop you to finish out the warm and intimate fragrance that "lingers when you're done." The goddess-worthy perfume was crafted by Jerome Epinette, vice president and master perfumer at Robertet Inc.

"God is a Woman presents an unprecedented duality in fragrance — an incredibly simple perfume structure built around some of the most coveted and exquisite natural materials available to me as a perfumer — specifically ambrette and orris," Epinette said in the release. "The way we crafted the scent represents what I feel is the future of perfumes: simplicity and luxury anchored to nature."

The "POV" singer launched her first fragrance back in 2015 and has since gone on to create new, innovative scents that have taken home prestigious awards, like 2020 Fragrance of the Year for Cloud and 2021 Fragrance of the Year for R.E.M. The latest fragrance iteration God is a Woman is available now exclusively at ulta.com and in stores nationwide starting Sunday, August 1, starting at $45.
