Blake Lively Put a “Loud Luxury” Spin on Barbiecore With a Hot Pink Minidress and Matching Opera Gloves

Blake Lively is closing out the year with a "loud luxury" spin on one of 2023's most popular trends: Barbiecore.

On Friday, the actress slayed in shades of pink while supporting her Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants co-star America Ferrera at a special screening of Barbie in New York City — and for the occasion, she wore a sleeveless hot pink Oscar de la Renta dress with a fluffy faux-fur skirt and matching long opera gloves. She layered the hot-pink number with a matching Valentino pink peacoat and accessorized with a pair of matching pink satin Malone Souliers pumps, and a Judith Leiber crystal clutch in the shape of a bow.

Beauty-wise, Blake’s makeup artist, Carolina Gonzalez, channeled Barbie with bright pink YSL Beauty lips and rosy cheeks, while the blonde bombshell’s hairstylist, Jennifer Yepez, opted for bouncy curls and a significant side part, revealing a pair of contrasting green Lorraine Schwartz earrings underneath.

What was even better than Blake's look? Her reunion with her Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants costars Alexis Bledel and Amber Tamblyn, who also stepped out in various shades of pink to celebrate their fellow castmate America Ferrera's Critic's Choice Award nomination.
