Is this an homage to Summer Roberts?

It's time for our daily dose of Emily Ratajkowski and her incomparable street style. The model and mother is feeding the fashion-famished ahead of the weekend, injecting a little bit of spice as everyone stares down the clock and hopes for some sweet salvation. For her latest Big Apple walk, Ratajkowski paired some very '00s-approved pieces for what could be seen as a tribute to everyone's favorite soapy teen drama, The O.C. EmRata's low-rise red skirt gave echoes of Marissa Cooper and Summer Roberts, while the addition of Ugg-style boots really drove home the early aughts vibe. The shoes were a staple of just about everyone that dreamed of (or had) a Juicy Couture tracksuit, and the beloved Australian brand has managed to continue to be a celeb favorite long after the sun set on Seth Cohen and Co.

Ratajkowski added a cropped hoodie to her outfit (the girls of The O.C. would have gone for multiple lace-trimmed camisoles) and had a trucker-style jacket on top for an additional layer and a tiny bit of edge to the otherwise flowy and freewheeling ensemble. She carried a black bag with gold chain detailing and added her trusty cat-eye sunglasses and gold hoops to bring it all together.

Earlier in the day, EmRata wore a very different outfit that showed everyone that fashion rules are meant to be broken. For anyone wondering if black and brown go together, they certainly do — and Ratajkowski showed why with a leather-on-leather outfit that looked super luxe without veering into Matrix territory. She put together low-rise leather pants with a bold, baggy silhouette and a longline leather trench. The pants were a deep, rich brown and the topper was inky black.

She added a midriff-baring tank to finish the look along with a pair of multicolored sneakers, which also featured a leather detail that picked up the tones of her pants. She carried a black bag under her shoulder and added a gold chain to the 'fit for a tiny bit of bling.
