Red carpet celebrity fashion is always most exciting when A-listers are ready and willing to take risks. Not only does Florence Pugh rank high on our list of favorite high-fashion risk-takers, but she often serves a side of body-positive commentary alongside her best red carpet looks. Whether she’s freeing the nip during Paris Fashion Week or “rejecting vanity” at the Met Gala, Pugh exudes powerful confidence and rarely plays it safe. The combination of opulent attire and candid conversation has become as much of a trademark for Pugh as her acting chops, no small feat for such a decorated actress.

In an age when nearly naked looks define red carpet dressing and over-the-top style is the norm, rather than the exception, it can be hard to achieve fashion icon status. Yet, Pugh, aided by celebrity stylist, Rebecca Corbin-Murray, does just that. Ahead, we’ve rounded up the best and boldest of Miss Flo’s major red carpet moments, from movie premieres to film festivals, and every luxe occasion in between. While no red carpet look can top the floral ensemble Pugh wore in the finale of Midsommar, the 13 ensembles below come close.
