Gisele Bündchen Just Put a Summery Twist on a Menswear Staple in the Middle of December

Between Selena Gomez's winter whites and Amal Clooney's festive sequin dress, the celebrities have officially ushered in the holiday season. But, ever the fashion contrarian, Gisele Bündchen announced that it's still shorts season (at least in Miami) on Friday with a playful twist on a menswear classic. To be fair, today's high in the 305 is 75 degrees.

The supermodel arrived at the Bass Museum for an IWC Schaffhausen event in a khaki-colored suit consisting of an oversized blazer and matching shorts. A plunging white button-up peeked out from underneath the blazer, and she finished off the outfit with beige patent-leather pumps.

In terms of accessories, Bündchen added a silver watch with a blue face from the brand and matching hoop earrings. Her honey-blonde hair was aptly styled in beachy waves and a middle part, and even her glam (a dewy complexion, feathered lashes, and a mauve lip) matched the mellow aesthetic.

During the appearance, the model participated in a talk panel for the watch brand alongside editor Malaika Crawford. Off stage, however, Bündchen is celebrating a personal milestone in her life. Today, the model and ex-husband Tom Brady's son Benjamin turned 14. She commemorated the special day with an Instagram tribute.

"Happy birthday to the sweetest boy! You have the biggest heart and I feel so lucky I get to learn with you everyday," she wrote. "Te amo muito❤️

She added, "Ps. One day your baby will stand as tall as you are. And you won’t be ready for it."
