Kylie Jenner Said Changing Her Son's Name Was "The Hardest Thing I've Ever Done in My Life"

Wolf Jacques Webster, we hardly knew you.

Kylie Jenner may be busy launching her brand-new fashion line Khy, but her WSJ. Magazine interview didn't just focus on entrepreneurship. Naturally, the mogul and reality star also touched on her other full-time job: being a mom.

Lest you forget, Jenner famously changed her son's name last year. When he was born in Feb. 2022, Jenner's youngest son, whom she shares with Travis Scott, was named Wolf Jacques Webster. Of course, anyone who managed to keep up with the Kardashian-Jenners remembers that she later changed his name to Aire Webster. Jenner opened up about the decision, saying it was far from easy.

"That was the hardest thing I've ever done in my life," Jenner said. "I'm still like, 'Did I make the right decision?'" Reflecting on the name she'd initially chosen, she said that she was not able to “make a decision or think straight” due to postpartum depression.

“I could not name him,” she said, going to add that she felt like “a failure” for not having “a name for my son.” Jenner and Scott also share a 5-year-old daughter named Stormi.

According to court documents that were obtained by TMZ, Jenner appeared in court (virtually) back in Sept. 2022 to finalize her son's name change. Aire means "Lion of God" in Hebrew. In an episode of The Kardashians, Kylie shared that Wolf was actually a suggestion from her sister Khloé.

"We had to sign the birth certificate — or else they register him without a name or social security number — so, I felt the pressure to choose a name," she revealed. Jenner added that she was under so much stress and pressure at the time that she actually cried in the shower afterward. "That’s not his name," she declared. "What did I just do? Wolf?!"
