(Almost) the Entire ‘Modern Family’ Cast Just Reunited for the First Time Since the Show’s Final Season

And our FOMO has never been worse.

If you, like me, have been trying to fill a Modern Family-sized hole in your heart since the series finale aired over three years ago, you’re in luck. Earlier this week, the entire cast (sans one notable member) reunited for the first time since the 11th season wrapped back in 2020 — and Sofía Vergara gave us an inside look at all that went down during their adorable dinner party.

On Wednesday night, the actress blessed her 31.8 million Instagram followers with a trio of photos detailing the Modern Family hangout, which took place at her Los Angeles home. While the first snap saw (almost) all of the cast — including Sarah Hyland, Julie Bowen, Eric Stonestreet, and a very grown-up Aubrey Anderson-Emmons (who played Lily) — posing arm-in-arm for a sweet family photo, Ty Burrell, who played Phil Dunphy in the series, was present only via framed headshot.

“First Modern Family reunion!!!! ❤️❤️❤️” Vergara captioned the dump.

Other carousel inclusions saw Hyland and Ariel Winter posing in matching all-black outfits while holding matching glasses of wine, and Vergara and Hyland lying on the couch with Jesse Tyler Ferguson and his husband, Justin Mikita.

Just a day later, Vergara shared even more snaps from the evening, including a selfie of the cast and the show’s creators, Steve Levitan and Christopher Lloyd.

“So lucky to have worked with this people for 11 years❤️. I love and miss u all guys!!! #modernfamily,” she captioned the post, to which Ferguson commented, “Thanks for hosting Sofia!!!! Love you.”
