Adele fans, this is the news you've been waiting for. Rumors have been swirling that the singer will be releasing her third studio album this year, and Adele herself took to Facebook this morning to confirm this—as well as the title of the sure-to-be hit record.

"My last record was a break-up record and if I had to label this one I would call it a make-up record," she writes in a photo post. "I'm making up with myself. Making up for lost time. making up for everything I ever did and never did." And, like her hit singles, the announcement is poetic in and of itself, touching on why she's named the album 25, and what turning the age has taught her about herself. And, being as gracious to her fans as she's always been, Adele ended the post with an apology: "And I'm sorry it took so long, but you know, life happened. Love, Adele."

The "Rolling in the Deep" songstress hasn't confirmed the release date of 25, but we'll be waiting with bated breath until she does. Until then, we can always listen to this 30-second clip of a song that is said to be one from her forthcoming album.
