Selena Gomez Returned to the Red Carpet with the Prettiest Ponytail

When Selena Gomez announced that she was taking a much-needed break after wrapping up her Revival World Tour this summer, we quickly saw (and felt) the void on our hair inspiration boards.

Since the 24-year-old singer never fails to give us serious hair envy, the ponytail Gomez wore for her return to the red carpet at tonight’s 2016 American Music Awards is going straight to the top of our list of hairstyles to try.

Gomez’s hairstylist Nikki Lee, co-owner of Nine Zero One Salon in L.A. kept the star’s pony simple like the quick tail you twist your hair into on double-snooze mornings, but added a few extra details like a sleek center part and a loosely curled tail so that the style was red carpet-worthy. To keep the overall vibe understated but elegant, celebrity makeup artist Hung Vanngo enhanced Gomez’s eyes with a soft smoky eye and glossy nude lip.
