Netflix just released the first images from the final season of The Crown, and like every other season, they're recreating some famous royal family moments. Part one of the two-part season premieres on the streaming platform Nov. 16. The new season is set to start with the first summer since Princess Diana and then-Prince Charles's divorce and will see the former couple spending time with their sons separately, per TUDUM.

In one production still, we see Elizabeth Debicki as Princess Diana in a fuchsia dress, enjoying a holiday with her sons, a young Prince Harry (played by Fflyn Edwards) and William (Rufus Kampa). A separate image depicts a recreation of Harry and Will on their 1997 vacation to Balmoral Castle with their father Charles.

The first six-episode installment will also follow Princess Diana's relationship with Dodi Al Fayed (played by Khalid Abdalla) and will pick up on the Al Fayed family yacht trip to Saint Tropez that we saw Diana packing for at the end of the fifth season.

“We’re very much in the beginning of the Princess Diana and Dodi Fayed story,” executive producer Suzanne Mackie told TUDUM. “From the second she steps onto that boat and [you begin to see] some of those iconic images of her on the yacht, it does take you immediately to the whirlwind that was the press speculation around that romance."

Part one will also "delicately" depict the untimely death of Princess Diana. Mackie and fellow executive producer Andy Harries previously said that they and Debicki "thoughtfully" handled the retelling of her story.

Debicki told TUDUM that this final chapter felt like "coming home." “I was really looking forward to Season 6, because there was a chunk of the story where I was not going to be as alone,” she explained. “For me, in terms of an overarching journey, one of the things that felt so important — because we know where the story is going — is to make sure that there was real joy and happiness and lightness and genuine fun on the screen.”

Part two of season 6, which drops on Dec. 14, will take place through 2005 and follows Prince William and Kate Middleton's love story.
