This kid has better style than me.

It was never a doubt in our mind that Rihanna and A$AP Rocky's kids would be equally as stylish as their power-couple parents. But seeing 18-month-old RZA's teeny-tiny trendy yellow sneakers just put us over the edge — and they also happen to be the shoes of the year.

Rihanna was photographed in New York City carrying a pair of her son's shoes: the celebrity-beloved Onitsuka Tiger’s Mexico 66 in a mustard color way. The kicks were so small that the singer and businesswoman managed to hold them in one hand while also clutching onto a black Gucci baguette bag (presumably belonging to her, not RZA) with the label's signature horsebit detail.

For her outfit, Rihanna donned a super long navy trench coat layered over a baggy black zip-up hoodie and nylon pantashoes, because even Rihanna's althleisure come fresh off the runway. For her footwear, Rihanna wore bedazzled black Mary-Jane flats from Alaïa to match her chunky diamond statement necklace. RiRi wore her hood up, but allowed her freshly dyed honey-blonde hair to peek through.

Rihanna and her longtime boyfriend welcomed their second son, Riot Rose, in August. A source told People at the time that "Rihanna feels her family is now complete."

In a previous interview with British Vogue, Rihanna recalled becoming a first-time mom back when RZA was born. "Oh, my God, it's legendary. It's everything," she gushed. "You really don't remember life before, that's the craziest thing ever."

"You literally try to remember it — and there are photos of my life before — but the feeling, the desires, the things that you enjoy, everything, you just don't identify with it because you don't even allow yourself mentally to get that far, because it doesn't matter," she continued.

During a press conference before her Super Bowl LVII Halftime performance, Rihanna said that becoming a mom has made her feel invincible. “When you become a mom, there’s something that just happens where you feel like you can take on the world and do anything,” she said earlier this year. “The Super Bowl is one of the biggest stages in the world. As scary as that was, because I haven’t been on stage in seven years, there’s something exhilarating about the challenge of it all.”

“It’s important for me to do this, this year," she added. "It's important for representation, it’s important for my son to see that.”
