Taylor Swift Put a 'Reputation' Twist on Her Signature Outfit Formula That Dates Back to 2014

The old her may be dead, but Taylor Swift's signature off-duty uniform is still very much alive. Following a six-year-plus street style hiatus, the pop star is back and still wearing her same-old outfit formula (see: Swift circa 2014 stepping out of her apartment with her cat, Olivia Benson, wearing a pleated miniskirt and heeled loafers) — and while some things never change, this time around, she's adding a Reputation-coded twist to the mix. 

On Thursday, Swift was spotted out and about in Manhattan's Greenwich Village neighborhood dressed in yet another all-black outfit reminiscent of something she would've worn when the album first came out in the twenty-teens. For her evening stroll, she slipped on a cozy black bomber jacket with fuzzy white shearling lining and paired the coat with a black pleated miniskirt, sheer black stockings, and matching Oxford loafers with a chunky heel. Meanwhile, a tiny black handbag and a collection of delicate gold rings accessorized her look. 

Taylor added a pop of color with her bold red lip, and styled her glossy blonde hair down and straight with a sweeping side bang.

Swift may be in NYC at the moment, but soon, she will be traveling to the Midwest to spend Christmas and New Year's Eve with her boyfriend Travis Kelce in Kansas City, where the tight end will be playing football. According to Page Six, the singer and NFL player will be enjoying the holidays together as a couple — and while not much is known about their alleged plans, a source told the outlet that Taylor will “for sure be at the games."
