Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift Are Not Spending Thanksgiving Together, Despite Recent Reports

"I'll be feasting on KFC."

Taylor Swift will not be home for Thanksgiving — at least not in Kansas City, that is. On Wednesday's episode of New Heights, Travis Kelce revealed that he will be spending Turkey Day alone this year, despite recent rumors that he would be celebrating the holiday with his girlfriend Taylor and her parents.

Travis told his older brother Jason that his plans include "feasting on KFC because I won't have anybody here." When Jason heard that he'd be alone, he invited his sibling to join his family in Philadelphia — where the Eagles center lives with his wife, Kylie, and their three daughters Wyatt, Elliote, Bennett — for a "quick trip," adding that they'll "have plenty of food."

Earlier this week, TMZ reported that the two lovers would be introducing their parents while also celebrating their first Thanksgiving together. A source added that they “are trying to work out their schedules to make sure they set aside as much time together as possible. Kelce is in the middle of his NFL season while Swift is currently on the second leg of her Eras Tour, with her next performance taking place on Friday, Nov. 24, in São Paulo.

During a different part of the episode, the brothers then reminisced on Thanksgivings from their childhood. Before they were busy being star players in the NFL (Jason has played in a Thanksgiving game multiple times), they spent the mornings participating in pickup games. Jason added that Turkey Day is one of the "best" holidays, though Travis may disagree. Jason remembered that as a "picky eater," the day would "always ended in tears" for Travis with their dad Ed Kelce "screaming" at the younger son to finish his food.
