Taylor Swift Is 34 Years Old Today — And Travis Kelce Is Reportedly Throwing Her a Massive Birthday Party

“Money is not an object.”

Taylor Swift is officially 34 years old today, and while she’s certainly no stranger to throwing herself a star-studded birthday bash (remember 2021’s celebration, where she partied with Haim?), it seems the party-planning duties have shifted to her boyfriend, NFL star Travis Kelce, this year.

According to a source for US Weekly, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end “wants to throw the best party possible” for Taylor on Dec. 13, noting that “money is not an object” and that Kelce wants all of the songstress’s “close friends” to attend. A second source added that the party will reportedly take place in New York City as opposed to Kansas City, where the pair celebrated Travis’s birthday earlier this fall.

While this year’s celebration may mark the first time that Taylor and Travis will spend Swift’s birthday together, it comes shortly after the singer revealed that they’ve been officially dating for several months during her Time Person of the Year interview.

“This all started when Travis very adorably put me on blast on his podcast, which I thought was metal as hell,” she told the outlet of Kelce’s July podcast episode. “We started hanging out right after that. So we actually had a significant amount of time that no one knew, which I’m grateful for, because we got to get to know each other. By the time I went to that first game, we were a couple.”

In the weeks that have passed since that first Chiefs game appearance, Traylor has been spotted grabbing dinner together, attending Saturday Night Live together, and supporting one another at various concerts and games — a stark difference from Swift’s last relationship with Joe Alwyn.

“When you say a relationship is public, that means I’m going to see him do what he loves, we’re showing up for each other, other people are there and we don’t care,” she said. “The opposite of that is you have to go to an extreme amount of effort to make sure no one knows that you’re seeing someone. And we’re just proud of each other.”
