While the 2022 Oscars were full of surprises and history-making moments, on the red carpet, we did spot something familiar: sheer dresses — lots of them — worn by some of the best-dressed stars of the night. The once-risqué fashion choice is now a mainstay at major events, but that doesn't mean these skin-baring designs weren't exciting or interesting to look at. On the contrary, sheer Oscars outfits continue to make a bold statement, but these days, it's the details and color choices that turn them into something truly special.
