Ryan wore shades of — you guessed it — gray.

When it comes to Hollywood power couples, Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are pretty much the blueprint, from their hilarious Instagram trolling antics to their adorable coordinating couple style. Even their errand-running looks are chic and complementary (see: Blake's chunky cable knit and Ryan's beige sweater or their matching button-ups.)

Most recently, the duo was spotted taking a stroll through the streets of Manhattan. For the outing, Lively wore a variety of blues: navy, royal, jean, etc. The actress layered her electric blue hoodie under a long, dark trench coat, which she accessorized with a matching quilted Chanel crossbody bag. On the bottom, she wore light-wash denim and chunky brown clogs with large buckles. Her long blonde hair was worn in effortless waves, and she added a pair of tortoiseshell sunnies.

For his part, Ryan went full-on 50 shades of gray in a groufit consisting of a fleece shacket, matching slacks, and a light-gray beanie. He added white sneakers and brown sunglasses of his own. Lively linked arms with her husband as they walked along the street.

Reynolds celebrated his 47th birthday on Monday, and although his wife forwent a social media birthday post this year (which is unusual for the couple, considering that an Instagram birthday trolling session is pretty much par for the course), Reynolds still received plenty of love on the platform. His friend and Wrexham AFC football club co-chair Rob McElhenney and Reynolds's fellow Marvel cast mate Chris Pratt both wished him a happy birthday with a special, yet goofy, video. Reynolds shared the video to his Instagram.

"Parks and Wrex!!! @RobMcElhenney, I don’t know how you stuffed @PrattPrattPratt into your windowless panel-van and forced him into our little birthday charade but I’m grateful to you for eternity," he wrote alongside the clip. "You’ve completely and totally outdone yourself. April is right around the corner."
