Chrissy Teigen Basically Just Wore Polka-Dot Pajamas in Public

I work from home the majority of the time and am, therefore, wearing pajamas more often than not. I’m not ashamed about it because there are different types of pajamas; there are the pajamas you wear to sleep, the ones you change into after a shower (think T-shirts and yoga pants), and the sets that double as going out attire. Don’t get it twisted — I’m not schlubbing it day in and day out! Chrissy Teigen seems to be in the same boat, as she just wore a similar ensemble of her own. 

Earlier this week, Teigen — AKA, maximalist queen — attended the Variety Sundance Studio, Presented by Audible. She basically wore pajamas adorned with rhinestone details, polka dots, and fluffy trim. But she turned a bedroom classic into evening attire with an unbuttoned front, coordinating bra, sparkly stockings, and heeled sandals. 

She inspired me to wear my own version of going-out pajamas, though I opted for a more pared-down style with two silky sleep shirts from Intimissimi. I wore them with a pencil skirt and heels on one occasion and jeans and booties on another. Pro tip: You don’t have to wear the entire pajama set in one outfit. Mix and match pieces for a seamless look that still gives a wow factor.

I’ve seen some ladies at the office pair similar tops with slacks and loafers, and it’s a mood. Do the same, or put your own spin on the trend.
