I will never recover from the Olsen twins’ retirement from the entertainment industry. But, Elizabeth Olsen’s ascent to superstardom and fame has made their disappearance a little bit easier to swallow. She’s in movies, TV shows, and the face of a Korean beauty brand I was just introduced to, Missha.

Now that fall is technically here and spiritually closer the colder it gets, Olsen has curated a five-product skincare selection for the brand. They’re all quite compelling, but the one I find particularly intriguing is Time Revolution Night Repair Ampoule which is on double sale with the code FALLVIBES20. (For the curious, the other four are Time Revolution Lifting Serum, Artemisia Calming Ampoule, Vita C Plus Spot Correcting Ampoule, and Bee Pollen Renew Ampoule.)

Despite the fact that I spend most of my time deep in the trenches of the beauty world, ampoules can still be confusing. Usually, ampoule refers to a very small, very concentrated skincare product that has short-term use. (Like the Babor ampoules I use for an occasional week-long hydration boost.) But in the context of Missha’s products, ampoule refers to a serum with a very high concentration of active ingredients.

At the core of the Time Revolution Night Repair are 10 different types of fermented probiotics which is a 77 percent concentration, per the brand. There are too many with names too confusing to list but one of them, bifida ferment lysate, a staple ingredient in Estee Lauder’s iconic (and more expensive) Advanced Night Repair Serum. It’s been shown to reduce skin sensitivity and improve skin barrier function. The other nine probiotic ingredients reportedly clarify, brighten, and firm skin. Probiotics may also balance your microbiome, strengthen your skin, and lower pH levels to help with issues such as rosacea, acne, and signs of aging. The remainder of the formula consists of collageneer, a collagen-boosting and skin-firming ingredient, and a fruit and vegetable complex that soothes and smooths skin, per the brand.

Missha’s Time Revolution Night Repair Ampoule has almost 400 five-star reviews. One reviewer praised it for “hydrating and evening out skin beautifully overnight [so that] you wake up with a soft and dewy appearance.” They also said that Time Revolution “helps to decrease the size of pores and wrinkles over time.” Another shopper said it moisturizes their skin and makes it “feel supple and firm.”

Head to Missha to shop the Elizabeth Olsen-picked Time Revolution Night Repair Ampoule while it’s on double sale with the code FALLVIBES20.
