Between Kendall Jenner’s khaki trench dress during Milan Fashion Week and Angelina Jolie’s quiet luxury version of the autumn staple, the dependable jacket has proven its versatility. And Emma Stone just demonstrated a new way to style the beloved jacket while simultaneously reworking classic suiting.

On Wednesday, the actress made a rare appearance at the premiere of Bleat during the 61st New York Film Festival in New York City, wearing a khaki double-breasted blazer minidress from Louis Vuitton's SS24 collection layered underneath a coordinating trench coat that was left open. Finishing off her outfit, she paired her micro-mini trench coat-dress hybrid with sheer black tights, pointed-toe pumps adorned with bows, and a dainty gold chain necklace.

As for glam, Emma styled her new chin-grazing blonde bob (she chopped four inches off her hair last month) with subtle face-framing waves and a middle part. Makeup-wise, she complemented her dewy complexion with bold brows, rosy cheeks, and glossy pink lips.

Just a few months ago, Emma stepped out for the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic, sporting a completely different hair color: her signature copper tone. For the rare outing, she wore Louis Vuitton head-to-toe, teaming a white embellished, A-line skirt with a striped yellow-and-white knitted top. A pair of white slingbacks, gold hoops, and a pair of Wayfarer sunglasses rounded out her summery look.
