Meghan Markle Paired a Monochromatic Look With a Touch of PDA at the Invictus Games

Because there's no better accessory than love.

Meghan Markle may be hard at work helping host the 2023 Invictus Games alongside her husband, Prince Harry, this week, but there’s one thing that’s definitely working harder: her wardrobe.

Just days after mastering post-Labor Day whites in the smartest white two-piece set, maybe ever, the duchess was spotted wearing yet another monochromatic moment during the fifth day of the Games — this time pairing brown-on-brown with a little good old-fashioned PDA. For the occasion, Markle slipped into a silky brown button-up top (complete with cropped long sleeves) tucked into a pair of high-waisted brown belted trousers and accessorized with gold jewelry. She wore her brunette hair down in voluminous curls with a side part, and she finished the look with rosy cheeks and feathered lashes.

For his part, Harry donned a sharp navy blue suit paired with a plain white button-up and black shoes.

While the pair’s outfits were certainly stylish, the most notable part of the photo op may have been their subtle PDA. In one snap, the couple posed alongside members of the NATO Joint Force Command and families from Italy and the Netherlands while sweetly holding hands and beaming at the camera.

This wasn’t Meghan’s only outfit of the day, however. Hours later, the duchess was spotted wearing a sleeveless white sweater vest with her hair pulled back into a low ponytail while watching a volleyball match between Nigeria and Ukraine. Markle also held the Nigerian flag during the match to signify her newfound heritage, which Harry joked about earlier in the week.

“Now, I'm not saying we play favorites in our home, but since my wife discovered she's of Nigerian descent, it's likely to get a little bit more competitive this year,” he shared during his opening speech.
