Happy 39th birthday, Drew Barrymore! The Hollywood star has grown up before our eyes, from an adorable 7-year-old in E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial to a well-respected actress, director and producer. Along the way, she’s maintained an infectious joie de vivre that’s apparent in everything she does. Now pregnant with her second child (another baby girl joining daughter Olive with husband Will Kopelman), Drew has been radiant on the red carpet—from her lemon-yellow Vionnet chiffon dress at the 2014 People’s Choice Awards, to the floral-appliqued Monique Lhuillier gown at the Golden Globes. “Just find something that makes you feel good about yourself,” she told InStyle.com recently about her philosophy for dressing while expecting.

The starlet (who has graced the cover of InStyle seven times—more than any other cover girl! ) is busier than ever: She runs her own production company, Flower Films, recently released her second book, a photographic collection of heart-shaped objects called Find it in Everything and is growing her cosmetics line Flower Beauty (available exclusively at Walmart) and Barrymore Wines collection.

Of course, she hasn’t left acting behind: She’ll reunite with pal and co-star Adam Sandler for the third time in the comedy Blended, about two single parents who can’t stand each other but get stuck sharing a suite on an African safari with their respective kids (due out in May).
