How to Get Keri Russell's Soft Summer Glow

Keri Russell is on a roll! Last week she showed us how to give a classic red lip a warm-weather twist at the Critics’ Choice Television Awards, and now she’s schooling us on the hottest summer accessory of all: glowing skin. Makeup artist Tina Turnbow, who prepped the actress for the premiere of Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, filled us in on the skin-smoothing products she used to get the look.

Starting with a clean slate, Turnbow rubbed Juara’s Tamarind Tea Hydrating Toner ($29; skinstore.com) all over Russell’s face to tighten pores and prep for moisturizer. The next step to achieving the star’s enviable glow? Loads of hydration. “I used Juara’s Sweet Black Tea & Rice Facial Moisturizer ($49; skinstore.com) and massaged it in really well,” she tells us. “Then, I used the Sweet Black Tea Eye Crème ($38; juaraskincare.com) and applied it on top of the cheekbones. This really helps to hydrate and give it a nice glow.”

After accentuating her eyes with a subtle cat eye and strong brows, Turnbow finished off her complexion with a flirty flush of color. To do so, she swept on Votre Vu’s Vu-On Rouge in Ma Cherry ($29; votrevu.com) along the apples of her cheeks and then switched to Amourette ($29; votrevu.com), a pastel pink, for a hint of highlight on her cheekbones.
