Did Selena Gomez Just Confirm She's Dating Benny Blanco?

"He is my absolute everything."

Selena Gomez hasn't been shy about sharing her relationship status with fans — she's joked about being single and even offered up a totally rational dream-guy checklist. Today, the singer and actress seemed to confirm rumors that she is dating producer Benny Blanco. The two worked together on the track "Single Soon." The confirmation stems from a fan post that showed Gomez and Blanco together. PopCrave covered the interaction, where Gomez wasn't shy about her feelings for Blanco.

"He is my absolute everything in my heart," she commented on the post. Additionally, she replied to a fan, writing, "then why has he been the best thing that's ever happened to me. The end." She kept the comments coming, adding to another response, "lol yeah and he's still better than anyone I've ever been with. Facts."

And to another user who wasn't feeling very loving, Gomez responded, "I don't understand. If you actually care about me. This is my happiest. If you don't feel free to say whatever you want. But I will never allow your words to guide my life. Ever. I'm done. If you can't accept me at my happiest then don't be in [m]y life at all."

People adds that back on Dec. 3, Gomez was also replying to comments on other fan accounts that speculated she and Blanco were getting romantic. She replied in the comments of a post featuring an image with the text "Selena Gomez Seemingly Confirms That She Is In a Relationship" with "Facts."

The publication notes that Blanco attended Gomez's 31st birthday party earlier this year. And though the revelations that came up today may point to them being very much an item, Gomez was single as recently as September, so the new relationship could be very new. Back in the fall, Gomez uploaded a TikTok that showed her mouthing along to audio that said, "Guess who has a boyfriend?"

"Not me bitch," she mimed. "Stay safe out there."

Gomez opened up about her love life during a September interview with SiriusXM Hits 1 LA. During her sit-down with Tony Fly and Symon, Gomez said that she was focusing on making feel-good music, which she didn't necessarily connect with being in a relationship.

"I think everybody goes through the phase of, 'Oh, it'd be nice to like have someone,' and I get that," Gomez explained. "But you know, I'm just enjoying where I'm at, and I just want to be happy with who I am so that whenever that person comes into my life, I can just have them add on to me instead of being this insecure, you know, person that I normally used to be."
