While '90s-era thin brows may have come back with a vengeance, there are a few people who believe that they're better left in the past. Victoria Beckham is one of them.

"Fuller brows frame my face so much better," Beckham tells InStyle. "I've worked very hard to regrow my brows and I barely touch them now. So I don’t think I could go back to super-thin brows."

The latest addition to her eponymous beauty line is proof of that. An ultra-thin brow pencil, the Victoria Beckham Beauty BabyBlade Microfine Pencil delivers precise lines and definition. And while it glides on seamlessly, it has impressive staying power — no smudging or fading here.

That long-wear ability was part of the allure for Beckham. "I’m always trying on clothes for my fashion line, so I need products that stay put rather than coming off every time I pull a jumper over my head," she says.

This desire to fill a gap in the market factored into the overall formulation, too. "We spent a lot of time developing the formula to ensure the finish of the pencil was as natural as possible," Beckham says. That's why the formula is infused with nourishing ingredients designed to soften and condition brow hairs; it's made with camellia japonica oil, which is packed with peptides and antioxidants, as well as vitamin-rich rosehip seed oil.

Better yet, the brow pencil is as foolproof as it gets: It has a slanted tip to fill in spaces and imparts a natural-looking finish that looks like the real thing. It's also easy to blend. While that makes it simple to create perfectly matching brows, Beckham has found that that's not always the goal; rather, she recalls a makeup artist who told her that brows should look like sisters, not twins. "I really take this advice into consideration when creating my brow shape to ensure my brows have a natural symmetry to them, and are not too perfect or forced," she says.

As for other pieces of beauty wisdom that have stuck with her over the years — and even inspired the creation of one of the brand's hero products — Beckham swears by applying a nude eye pencil along the waterline, calling it a game-changer. "It instantly brightens and wakes up your eyes," she says. "I distinctly remember the first time a makeup artist did this trick. I looked instantly polished." And with the new BabyBlade Microfine Pencil, the rest of us can, too.
