When the 2024 Golden Globes nominees were announced, it came as a surprise to movie buffs that Florence Pugh wasn't up for a trophy for her role in Oppenheimer. That doesn't mean that fans wouldn't get a chance to see Miss Flo on the red carpet, however, as the Golden Globes announced that she would join names like Angela Bassett, Oprah Winfrey, and Michelle Yeoh as presenters. Pugh, who has made a name for herself by wearing daring looks (think: sheer, backless, and plunging — sometimes all at once) on the red carpet in the past, arrived at this year's big bash at the Beverly Hilton wearing a show-stopping red Valentino gown that continued her penchant for sheer dressing.

Pugh's red Valentino creation featured floral embellishment on the flowing skirt, and the light-as-air fabric showed off her coordinating bodysuit as she floated down the carpet. The dress also included spaghetti straps and a crisscross bodice, and she paired the soon-to-be iconic look with a victory roll-inspired retro updo. Shimmering diamonds from Tiffany & Co. finished the look, as well as sky-high mirrored silver platforms.

Though she's not up for an award tonight, Pugh's film, Oppenheimer, managed to snag eight total nominations, including Best Screenplay - Motion Picture, Best Motion Picture - Drama, and Best Director - Motion Picture as well as acting nods for Robert Downey Jr., Emily Blunt, and Cillian Murphy. Variety predicts that Pugh could get an Oscar nomination, as she could be in contention for the Best Supporting Actress award.

Of course, thanks to this year's "Barbenheimer" phenomenon, the epic biopic also earned a nomination for the special Cinematic and Box Office Achievement award, pitting it against Taylor Swift and her The Eras Tour film.
