When it comes to fall fashion, more is always more. More jackets? Yes. More boots? Please and thank you. Well, Jennifer Lopez just stepped out in a quintessential autumnal outfit that's easy to replicate and very hard to mess up — because you can't go wrong with a monochromatic set and platform boots.

On Wednesday, the multi-hyphenate was spotted in Los Angeles wearing a fail-proof 'fit in one of the season's go-to colorways: brown. Lopez sported a copper-colored miniskirt and a matching cropped jacket with gold buttons layered over a cream-colored turtleneck. Brown leather platform knee-high boots with gold buckles complemented the set, and Lopez took the matching one step further with a beige, croc-embossed Hermès Birkin bag (with gold hardware of course). She accessorized with chunky gold hoops and aviator sunglasses (a J.Lo staple), and her caramel hair was slicked back into a tight bun.

Although Lopez went full-on fall yesterday, earlier this week she wore a summer-forward OOTD (which makes sense when the weather in L.A. still includes blistering temperatures). On Monday, J.Lo posted a series of selfies to Instagram wearing a long white button-up shirt dress from Schiaparelli with the most voluminous statement sleeves and gold buttons that matched her metallic Cult Gaia clutch.

Large gold statement earrings, matching rings, and oversized sunnies finished off the look, which she complemented with a super slicked-back updo. She posed in front of a fountain surrounded by flowers and some still very green foliage (further proving that dressing for summer in October is fair game in L.A.). She simply captioned the post with a sun emoji to reflect the weather and her glaringly gold outfit deets.
