Some of Hollywood's famous moms took the night off to help fundraise for the glamorous second annual Baby2Baby Gala held at the Book Bindery in Culver City, California. The annual gala not only helped raise funds for the local non-profit organization—which donates essential baby supplies to Los Angeles families in need—but it also honored mom-to-be of two, Drew Barrymore, with the Baby2Baby Giving Tree Award in recognition of her support and dedication to the cause. "Drew Barrymore is the ideal recipient, while she is an actress, director, producer and entrepreneur, she finds time to devote to children’s causes around the world," said fellow actress, board member, and mother of two, Jessica Alba, who presented the award. "She was named an ambassador against hunger by the World Food Programme and has remarkably built the Barrymore Primary School for children in Kenya...we are super pumped that she has chosen Baby2Baby to lend her voice and passion." Alba also jokingly added, "I want to look like [Drew], I didn’t look good with blonde hair though, it didn’t work out on me," she said. "I’m just saying, I was really into it, I still want to look like you actually."

When Barrymore took to the stage to receive her award, she also gave a heartfelt speech that ended the night on a powerful note. "It means so much to me to do this with you, Jessica, because we’ve known each other for a very long time. We did Never Been Kissed together and it was the best time ever, I am Josie Grossie and I just love it." Barrymore then added, "when you get around kids it is this whole other thing and words fall away and you get very quiet and humble. It is a complete learning experience. I love what this organization does because the kids really need it." Along with a star-studded guest list—including Julie Bowen, Nicole Richie, Rachel Zoe, Rebecca Romijn, and new mother Jaime King—the gala offered sweet and savory bites by some of LA's top chefs like Son of a Gun lobster rolls and food truck favorites including Kogi short rib tacos, plus a silent auction with lavish items from a trip to Paris for the French Open, to a chance to attend an Oscar de la Renta show. Amongst the glitter and glamour of the evening, the stars never once forgot the reason they were there and helped make a difference in a child and a family's life by raising over $1.3 million. They sure did in style!
