Rihanna Looks Unrecognizable With Waist-Skimming, Honey Blonde Hair

It’s a well-known fact that Rihanna can pull off any trend. She practically redefined maternity fashion with her plethora of stand-out style moments (see: her internet-breaking monochromatic red breastplate and jumpsuit for the 2023 Super Bowl halftime performance). And it’s no different when it comes to her hair — from her long waves to a pixie cut and sweeping bangs. Over the weekend, the multi-hyphenate underwent another major hair transformation, a callback to her 2012 blonde days.

While most go dark for fall, the mother of two went the untraditional route and said goodbye to her signature brunette hair and hello to blonde. On Thursday, she was photographed stepping out for a dinner date with friends in Los Angeles while debuting her new waist-skimming honey-blonde hair with dark roots. Re-entering her blonde era, she styled the golden hue with a long camel coat layered over a gray hoodie and coordinating dark-wash jeans with an intricate design printed on the thighs. A pair of snakeskin-printed heels, an emerald green handbag, and a neon green manicure rounded out her look.

She complemented her new 'do with a glowing complexion and an early aughts-inspired glam look consisting of dark eyeliner and a brown-lined glossy lip.

Technically, Rihanna has been teasing blonde hair since last month. Case in point? In honor of A$AP Rocky’s 34th birthday, Rihanna was spotted out and about in New York City styling blonde highlights in a messy ‘90s-style updo with side-sweeping bangs and a deep side part. She teamed her hair with an all-black outfit that included a voluminous tulle bustier top layered underneath a matching cropped bomber jacket and styled with pantaboots.
