Sydney Sweeney’s Red-Hot Mini Dress Is Classic Holiday Dressing at Its Finest

When in doubt, wear red.

While it's hard to beat Margot Robbie’s spot-on Barbie press tour wardrobe, Sydney Sweeney’s recent parade of looks is earning a spot as a close second. From her seriously sheer gown dripping in rhinestones to her pretty in pink Versace moment, Sydney has proved that she's one to watch in the fashion realm — and her latest look (just one of yesterday's five 'fits) was no exception.

On Tuesday, the actress made an appearance on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon in New York City while promoting her new rom-com film, Anyone But You (out Dec. 22). For the appearance, she wore her version of modern-day pin-up girl attire, donning a red–hot, figure-hugging custom Balmain mini dress complete with a sweetheart neckline, corset boning, and a massive rosette appliqué at the hip. Continuing her lady-in-red moment, Sweeney teamed the look with a bold red lip, a coordinating manicure, and patent leather pointed-toe stilettos.

As for the rest of her glam, she styled her blonde locks in sleek, blown-out curls with a pair of shiny, silver dome hoop earrings from Mejuri.

In an interview with E! News, Sweeney and her Anyone But You co-star, Glen Powell, opened up about what it is like filming a steamy shower sex scene.

"There's always an awkward moment, but I don't know if it's because you're so close to someone other than the 40 crew members that are watching you film this — that's the awkward part," Sweeney told the publication. "If anything, I feel more safe with someone who I'm friends with than some people that you don't really know."

Powell added that Sweeney “made it easy” despite the crew giving their input throughout.

"When we were doing that, there were other people weighing in on what we should do in that scene," he shared. "I was like, 'I don't like when crew members are weighing in on how I should do a sexy shower scene.' You start getting in the head of some of your crew members. You're like, 'That is weird, man. Can't look at you the same way.' "
