Target is easily one of my favorite retailers since I can get all of my shopping done in one place, and its reasonably priced fashion pieces look far more expensive than they actually are. Lauren Fischer, Partnerships Editor: Like many, I practically live in comfy sweats as soon as the temperature dips below 60 degrees. I bought this sweatshirt from Target recently in green and black, and I'm not surprised certain colors are already selling out. It's lightweight yet cozy and is super soft both inside and out. I love that the shape feels slightly fitted, so I can wear it with jeans, boots, and earrings for a dressed-up look that is put together while still keeping me comfortable. It's also the ideal length — it's not long and baggy but also not cropped like many options I've found. I'm definitely buying it in more available colors soon.

A New Day Short Sleeve T-Shirt

Bridget Degnan, Partnerships Editor: This simple white tee is a staple in my wardrobe, especially during colder months. I own three because I wear them under sweaters and crewnecks for both added warmth and for an overall layered look. I love how it adds a pop of white by the neckline, providing a nice contrast to bright or neutrals worn on top. Style with two or three necklaces, and you're good to go.

Universal Thread Cashmere-Like Pullover Sweater

I have a long torso, so it can be difficult to find a minimally cropped top that isn't too long or way too short, but this one hits just above the top of most jeans I own, making it the Goldilocks fit of my dreams. Plus, Target wasn't kidding when they named it "cashmere-like." The incredibly soft material is super cozy yet breathable, so I never feel overheated when I wear either the holiday-appropriate dark green or wear-with-anything tan. Now that they're on sale, I'm eyeing the cream and dark gray colors, too.

A New Day Mini Top Handle Crossbody Bag

Ali Faccenda, Partnerships Writer: I own upwards of 20 handbags, but I always come back to this mini style that's now less than $25. I’ve worn it to fancy dinners, weddings, and alongside everyday casual outfits, and I can't get over how surprisingly roomy it is. It has three separate compartments for organizing all of my necessities, and I love being able to convert it from a handbag to a shoulder bag with the longer removable crossbody strap. I have genuinely never loved a handbag more than this affordable yet expensive-looking style from Target.

A New Day High-Rise Slim Straight Leg Pintuck Ankle Pants

Ariel Scotti, Editorial Director of Partnerships: I bought these pants on a whim recently after a closet purge that left me without a pair of basic black pants to wear to work, and no random shopping decision has ever worked out so well. These pants have just the right amount of high-rise, and the cuffed hemline makes them feel current without venturing into ‘too baggy’ territory. I also have wider hips and a smaller waist, so finding pants that fit without gaping in the back can be a struggle, but these manage to flatter my figure comfortably. My favorite detail is the pintuck seam down the front of each leg, which makes them feel just a bit more special and interesting than your average black pants.

I own it in the olive color, which looks grayish green, making it the ideal moody fall color. I've tucked this top into a skirt and pants and even threw it on over a slip dress as a cozy top layer. I might have to buy another now that it's on sale.

It transforms any T-shirt and jeans ensemble from casual to cool with zero effort. It’s one of the most worn layering pieces I own.
