The singer sported an ultra-sexy beige midi dress from Magda Butrym that was not only form-fitting and flattering in all of the best ways, but it was designed with center-front ruching that snatched everything.

Lopez is no stranger to a shirred fashion moment; she’s worn the waist-snatching detail in shirt-form (which I also love!), but this dress easily takes the cake. If you’re not familiar with the design hack, it's pretty simple: The fabric of a ruched (or shirred) piece is typically pulled inward, which, in turn, pulls everything else inward to create the illusion of a more snatched waist. It’s sexy! It’s elegant! It’s perfect for this time of year! And I want in.

But that’s not the only style trick Lopez was wearing. She went with an optical illusion PVC heel — also known as Cinderella heels because they basically look like glass slippers — that Amal Clooney is also a fan of. Rather than wearing a black pump, Lopez slipped into the clear style that creates the illusion of longer legs thanks to its barely there design. They’re nearly invisible, so I don’t blame you if you had to do a double take to see if Lopez was, in fact, wearing shoes or not.
